Police: Woman dies following triple shooting on Orlando intersection

Officials with the Orlando Police Department are investigating after they said one woman died and two others were hospitalized following an Orlando shooting Friday morning.

Police were initially dispatched to the area of Curry Ford Road and South Semoran Boulevard around 2:30 a.m. in reference to a shooting.

Initial investigation revealed the occupants of one vehicle shot at another vehicle, striking three people that were inside, according to OPD.

One of the victims, identified as Carola Luciano, 25, died at an area hospital, according to police.

There has not been an update on the other two victims, identified as Lorraine Pagan, 34, and David Zanone, 25.

Suspect information has yet to be released.

“I thought someone was outside doing fireworks, but I looked at the time and thought well who’s up this early in the morning doing fireworks,” said Faye Brown, who overheard the shooting.

The shooting also prompted area road closures.

The investigation remains ongoing.
