Police: 2 people injured in shooting near Winter Park Village

WINTER PARK, Fla. — Police say two people were injured in a shooting near the Winter Park Village on Monday afternoon.

Winter Park police said one of the people was grazed by a bullet and the other was transported to a nearby hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.

Investigators said they believe a man got out of his car and fired at the pair, then got back in his car and drove away north on Denning Drive.

The investigation had Denning Drive blocked from Canton Street to Webster Street.

Officers said they are looking for an older four-door silver or gold sedan.
