ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — The Florida Highway Patrol is searching for a woman who may have emergency medical training and helped victims at a deadly August crash in Orange County.
Investigators believe she was among the first on scene after the 2:33 p.m. Aug. 16 collision at S.R. 520 and Maxim Parkway, in which a 41-year-old Orlando woman was killed.
FHP says a speeding 2002 Toyota Camry ran a red light and struck a 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer turning left from Maxim Parkway.
The Camry driver, a 24-year-old man from Indialantic, was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center with minor injuries; both drivers wore seat belts.
Troopers believe the witness may currently or previously have worked as an Emergency Medical Technician. Anyone with information is asked to call FHP (347) or (407) 737-2300 and ask for Corporal Daniel Jonas.
