Truck driver arrested in Georgia after Orange County warehouse shooting

The incident allegedly began when Crump arrived late for a delivery at a local distribution center

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A truck driver was arrested in Georgia after a shooting at an Orange County warehouse last week, according to authorities.

Deputies said the conflict arose when David Crump arrived late with his delivery to a local distribution center. Crump got into an argument with an employee, threatened to kill him and shot the worker in the arm.

Following the shooting, Crump fled the scene. His trucking company tracked his semi-truck into Georgia, where law enforcement officers took him into custody.

Crump will be brought back to Orange County to face charges. This is a developing story and Channel 9 will provide updates as they become available
