ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Two Central Florida arts organizations are receiving major grants as part of the 2026 Dr. Phillips Charities Impact Awards.
Dr. Phillips Charities announced Wednesday that the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra and Orlando Ballet are this year’s recipients of the Dr. Phillips Leadership Award.
The organization said each will receive $125,000 in recognition of their contributions to Central Florida’s arts community and efforts to expand access to the arts.
Dr. Phillips Charities said another 15 Central Florida nonprofits will each receive $5,000 microgrants, bringing the total awarded through this year’s Impact Awards to $325,000.
The organization said all 17 recipients will be recognized during an awards ceremony Oct. 15 at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts.
