ORLANDO, Fla. — A Joe's Crab Shack restaurant worker was tied up by two armed men during a robbery early Monday morning, Orange County deputies said.
Deputies said the restaurant employee was headed to his car when two masked men approached him.
The robbers then took the man back into the restaurant, on Apopka-Vineland Road, and tied him up, deputies said.
Deputies said the masked men, described as white, made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
While the road in front of the business is generally busy with traffic, employee parking behind the building is more isolated from view.
One couple in the area said they were familiar with the feelings the employee had. They said a man tried to rob their children at a McDonald's in the area.
"Yeah, I know that kind of stuff happens. You know what I mean?" said a man, who didn't wish to be identified.
