OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — Parents in Osceola County are running out of time to decide how they want to send their children back to school.
Parents were supposed to give the district their decision nearly a month ago, but according to the school board, about 10,000 parents have yet to let the district know what learning option, whether in-person or online, they want their children to enroll in.
Families have three learning options. The first option is to send children back to their assigned school for face-to-face learning.

The second option is for students to take digital online classes with their assigned school.
The third option is Osceola Virtual School for students from kindergarten to 12th grade.
Students in face-to-face learning will have to take precautions and everyone will be required to wear a mask, including teachers. At some schools, students temperatures will be checked.
According to school board officials, as of July 15, about 46% of students will head back to the classroom for face-to-face learning.
Officials ask parents to make their choice by Wednesday.
School begins Aug. 24 in Osceola County.
