Woman dies after fiery rollover crash in Osceola County, troopers say

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — Florida Highway Patrol troopers are investigating a deadly crash that happened Tuesday night in Osceola County.

Troopers responded to a car crash around 10:25 p.m. on State Road 60, west of Mae Bass Road.

Investigators said a woman was driving a car westbound on SR-60 when the car somehow traveled into the right shoulder and overturned.

The car came to rest on its roof and then became engulfed by fire, troopers said.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

Troopers said they are still working to identify the vehicle, driver and cause of the crash.
