ROCKLEDGE, Fla. — Rockledge police said a 12-and a 13-year-old were responsible for vandalizing a youth house at a church, causing thousands of dollars in damage.
Roman Vega, 12, and Cody Russell, 13, were caught because they left pizza behind at Grace Fellowship Church, and police were able to trace the order.
Police said the suspects broke into the church sometime Sunday night or Monday morning and vandalized the building, leaving pieces of Little Caesars pizza behind, Rockledge police said.

They damaged music equipment, trashed a part of the youth fellowship center and spray-painted doors and chairs, police said.
“This is very expensive, very extensive and very malicious damage,” said Lt. Donna Seyferth with the Rockledge Police Department.
Youth Pastor Joel Hopkins told Channel 9's Melonie Holt although nothing was taken at the church, it did suffer up to $8,000 in damage.
Despite the damage, Pastor Hopkins said he’s not angry, just more disappointed.
The two boys, who are now in custody, were not members of the church. Police said the boys wouldn’t say what motivated them to trash the building.
“We rounded them both up separately. They were arrested and they have been charged and transported to the Juvenile Detention Center,” said Seyferth.
Vega and Russell are facing felony charges for criminal mischief and burglary.
