PALM BAY, Fla. — An elderly woman was found dead inside a Palm Bay home on Tuesday following a fire.
Palm Bay police said neighbors inside the Holiday Park community called 911 just before noon after they heard the home’s smoke detectors going off and realized the home’s windows were hot.

When firefighters arrived at the home on Crystal Court, they said they quickly put out the flames and found the homeowner dead inside.
Police said the woman may have been overcome by smoke inside the home.
