Police investigating after woman injured in possible shooting

ORLANDO, Fla. — Orlando police are investigating after a woman arrived at a local hospital claiming to have been shot.

According to police, the 19-year-old woman said she was driving in the area of Conroy Road and Southgate Drive when she heard a loud pop and felt something hit her in the head.

The woman then drove herself to the hospital and was treated for a “non-life-threatening injury.”

Police went to the area where the woman said she was injured but could not find any evidence of a shooting.

Officers said there were reports of possible gunshots in the same area about an hour before the woman reported being shot.

Police said it is unclear if the two incidents are related.
