Police: Man accused of fatal shooting outside Edgewater bar

EDGEWATER, Fla. — An Edgewater man is behind bars after allegedly fatally shooting a man outside a bar early Saturday, police said.

Rudolf John Ulics, 52, admitted to shooting Travis Jones, 29 of Oak Hill, in front of the No Name Saloon on South Ridgewood Avenue around 1:27 a.m.

Jones was transported to Florida Hospital where he was later pronounced deceased, police said.

Police arrested Ulics at his home on the 3300 block of Tamarind Drive.

Police charged Ulics with second-degree murder.
