ORLANDO, Fla. — A man broke into a military store and stole dozens of guns late Monday night, Orlando police said.
The burglar got in through the roof of Al's Army Navy Store on North Orange Blossom Trail. Authorities said he smashed several cases and filled multiple duffel bags with guns.
The suspect, later identified as 19-year-old Gary Elliott, tried to get away on an adult tricycle, police said.

Elliott was caught a few miles away on Rio Grande Avenue. Most of the guns were found on the business' property and on the suspect, police said.
According to store managers, Elliott tried to clean up a trail of blood in the store by spray painting over it.
"Anytime you have guns in the wrong hands, it's definitely not a good thing so the fact that they recovered a lot amount of them, there is still two out there, it is still better," resident Armondo Coelho said.
Elliott was booked into the Orange County Jail and is facing a slew of charges.
