A man was shot and killed Monday night outside a Winter Park apartment complex, police said.
The shooting happened on the 700 block of Margaret Square near Orlando and Monroe avenues. Investigators told Channel 9 Tuesday that the investigation had become a homicide investigation.
Police said they responded to a shooting call and found Trevius Donte Roberts, 23, with a gunshot wound.
Roberts was taken to the hospital, where he died.
Neighbors gathered around a memorial for the victim Tuesday morning. A woman said bullets riddled her front door, sideswiped her car and flattened a tire.
Police said there is a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in connection with the incident.
Investigators would not say if they have any suspects.
WINTER PARK, Fla. — Winter Park had gone more than two years without a homicide until two men were killed in February, followed by the deadly shooting Monday.
