ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Police arrested an Orange County man on Thursday on charges of burglary, fraudulent use of credit cards, third-degree grand theft and criminal mischief.
Police said Terrace Odums stole a purse out of the front seat of a woman’s car while she was with her child at R.D. Keene Park in Windermere on Aug. 5.
The woman’s husband received an alert on his phone signaling $302 had been withdrawn from her bank account.
A store clerk at Circle K saw Odums enter the store to use an ATM and noticed the suspect was withdrawing large amounts of cash. The suspect later made a withdrawal from an ATM in Apopka.
Police said Odums was caught on Circle K security camera footage.
