ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Orlando police said a mother and father used their children to try to steal hundreds of dollars of merchandise from a department store at the Mall of Millenia.
Officers said Shamdai and Trimesh Persaud and their two children were caught trying to hide more than $600 worth of merchandise in their shopping cart at the Macy's at the mall Saturday night.
The parents were arrested, and the children are now with a family member.
