Florida school bus attendant, husband accused of possession of cocaine, marijuana

POLK COUNTY, Fla. — A Polk County Schools bus attendant and her husband were arrested Friday on charges of cocaine and marijuana possession, officials said.

Polk County deputies said while executing a search warrant at the home of Mary Whitehead, 36, and Antonio Whitehead, 41, in Lakeland, investigators found a small plastic bag containing cocaine, a baggie of marijuana and a digital scale.

Deputies said the couple lived in the home with young children.

Deputies said Antonio Whitehead has a lengthy criminal record, which includes seven prior felonies and 14 prior misdemeanors.

Both suspects posted bail and were released from jail over the weekend.
