Police: 4 children inside home as 3 adults shot, killed in Polk County murder-suicide

LAKELAND, Fla. – Police in Lakeland said three adults are dead after what appears to be a murder-suicide on Christmas Eve.

Officers made this discovery when they responded to a call at a home on Atlanta Avenue on Tuesday evening.

Police said four kids were also inside the home at the time but they weren't hurt.

Investigators haven’t released the victims’ names or said anything about how they are connected to each other.
