ORLANDO, Fla. — Several overnight ramp closures are scheduled in early to mid-September along I-4, SR 417, World Drive, and U.S. 192 near Exits 62 and 64.
Work includes ramp construction and bridge demolition. Expect detours using Celebration Avenue, U.S. 192, Griffin Road and World Drive.
What’s closing and when
Sept. 8–9: Ramps at Exit 62
When: Midnight to 5 a.m. each night (overnight Sept. 8 and Sept. 9).
Closures: SR 417 southbound ramp to I‑4 westbound and I‑4 westbound ramp to World Drive (Exit 62).
Detour – SR 417 south to I‑4 west: Take Exit 2 (Celebration Avenue) → right on Celebration → left on U.S. 192 west → about 1 mile → I‑4 west ramp toward Tampa.
Detour – I‑4 west to World Drive (Exit 62): Continue to Exit 64 (Kissimmee/Magic Kingdom) → stay right for U.S. 192 west toward Magic Kingdom/ESPN Wide World of Sports.
- To World Drive north: use the Magic Kingdom/Disney’s Hollywood Studios exit.
- To World Drive south: use the Celebration exit
Sept. 13–14: Exit ramp at Exit 64
When: 11 p.m. Sept. 13 to 5 a.m. Sept. 14
Closure: I‑4 westbound exit ramp to U.S. 192 eastbound (Exit 64).
Detour – I‑4 west to U.S. 192 east: Take Exit 64 (Kissimmee/Magic Kingdom) → stay right for U.S. 192 west → about 2 miles → left on Griffin Road → about 1 mile south → left on World Drive north → exit for U.S. 192 east toward Kissimmee.
