SANFORD, Fla. — It took authorities less than three hours to arrest a man they believe robbed a bank in Sanford Friday afternoon.
Authorities said Jason Adkins walked into the Bank of America on US-17-92 shortly after 1 p.m. and handed the teller a note demanding money.
Police said Adkins wasn’t wearing a mask or gloves and never implied he had a weapon.
Police arrested him a short time later at a Budget Inn where he rented a room using his own name.
No injuries were reported in the robbery.
