SANFORD, Fla. — The city of Sanford will look to hire a new city manager for the first time in 15 years.
The city announced Norton Bonaparte’s retirement from the role at a meeting Monday night.
Bonaparte has served as city manager since 2011. His final day will be October 14. Bonaparte plans to be available as a consultant for the city during the transition.
