Seminole County man wins $1 million on Florida Lottery scratch-off game

SANFORD, Fla. — A Seminole County man won a $1 million top prize while playing a Florida Lottery scratch-off game.

Florida Lottery officials announced announces that Tyrone Bouie, of Sanford, claimed a $1 million top prize from the $5 MONOPOLY DOUBLER scratch-off game.

Officials said Bouie chose to receive his winnings as a lump-sum payment of $798,985.

Bouie bought the winning ticket from Conrad Mobil on North Dixie Freeway in New Smyrna Beach.

The retailer who sold the winning ticket will also receive a $2,000 bonus.

The $5 MONOPOLY DOUBLER game started on July 4, 2022, and features more than $132 million in cash prizes, including 12 top prizes of $1 million.

Lottery officials said scratch-off games have generated more than $17.69 billion for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund.
