SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla — In Seminole County, local health officials have some serious safety questions after a picture that showed a packed bar during a pub crawl was posted on social media.
The photo has since been taken down, but complaints over it have been pouring into Seminole County since this morning.

The photo of a packed bar with no one wearing masks for the Santa pub crawl on Thursday night immediately drew harsh criticism.
One person commented on social media, “This is insane! All I want for Christmas is COVID.”
Dexter’s soon took the post down and claimed it was from the outside of another restaurant.
“It’s concerning number one the event took place, but number two other facilities were congratulating them and thanking them all for doing this type of activity and that’s what’s a little bit concerning for us,”

Seminole County emergency management director Alan Harris said after they were bombarded with phone calls over the social media post. The Health Department also received one complaint.
Harris also called this a violation of the county’s executive orders and said no one is following CDC guidelines.

“Today folks from the county will go out and educate the managers on what’s going on in our community.” Harris said. “Clearly the managers didn’t understand we are in a surge and we are seeing over a hundred new cases every single day. That’s what we saw back in May when the hospitals were having to shut down elective surgeries we don’t want that to happen again.”
