WESTON, Fla. — A sinkhole has swallowed the back of an SUV in South Florida, prompting authorities to evacuate several homes.
Broward Sheriff's Fire-Rescue officials said the sinkhole opened in a Weston neighborhood Sunday after a water main break. Authorities instructed several residents to move their vehicles and three households were evacuated as a precaution.
The Miami Herald reports the broken main flowed water to the doors of 15 homes.
No injuries were reported.
