FILL THIS OUT — When the coronavirus pandemic hit, shutting down schools across the state, many seniors thought they would never be able to have a traditional graduation.
While some schools opted for virtual ceremonies, others held out hope for in-person celebrations, including Lake County.

South Lake High School seniors celebrated their graduation on the football field while sitting six feet apart, some wearing masks while family members and friends watched from the bleachers.
"I knew it meant the end of a lot of things. I didn’t know how much it meant to me until it all ended,” said Diamond Backer.
