Storms possible later this afternoon, Alex forms in the Atlantic

ORLANDO, Fla. — It is a beautiful start to Sunday, with clear skies and sunshine.

Seabreeze showers and storms will be active Sunday afternoon.


Storms could develop as soon as late morning in our northern coastal areas and move inland through the afternoon.

There is a 50% chance of rain in the metro Orlando area.

We will see temperatures with highs in the upper 80s and low 90s.

In the Atlantic, Tropical Storm Alex has formed.

Alex is moving away from Florida and could impact Bermuda on Monday.

The storm will kick up surf and sea conditions along Florida’s east coast on Sunday.
