“This is surreal,” she said. “I’ve always dreamed of this; I finally get to see the colors.”
Immediately after donning the glasses for the first time, she noticed the perfectly manicured pink flowers around her, and the pink flowers in her bouquet. Before wearing the glasses, she said she couldn’t tell that the bouquet was a mix of pink and white.
Robinson has a common type of red-green color blindness, which prevents her from seeing colors like pink and purple and makes it difficult to see shades of red, green and brown.
