TSA offers pre-check process at OIA for $85

ORLANDO, Fla. — The Transportation Security Administration has brought its pre-check process to Orlando International Airport, and passengers who sign up will be able to breeze through airport security.

Membership costs $85 for five years.

The TSA will fingerprint print and run a background check on anyone who signs up.

People who qualify as a low-risk traveler will be put on the Department of Homeland Security's trusted travelers list, which will get passengers into a designated security line.

In that line, passengers will not have to remove their shoes, belts, light jackets, or items from their bags.

Anyone interested can sign up at the new pre-check center inside OIA.
