WINTER GARDEN, Fla. — Two people were hospitalized on Wednesday after a medical emergency near the West Orange Trail, according to Orange County Fire Rescue.
Orange County Fire Rescue said it assisted Winter Garden Fire Rescue on the call and transported two patients to Orlando Regional Medical Center as trauma alerts.
Officials have not released information about the patients’ conditions or what caused their injuries.
Reports of lightning strikes in the area surfaced around the time of the incident, but authorities have not confirmed that lightning was involved.
