ORLANDO, Fla. — A student at the University of Central Florida is recovering after testing positive for COVID-19, the university said.

Classes have already moved online, and some students have started moving out of dorms as well.

Students began moving their things out of dorms Friday after the school announced a student tested positive for the virus.

“I wish they would’ve just come out and been clear,” said Anton Samilian, a student.

The university said it plans to decontaminate the student’s residence hall and classrooms but didn’t identify which ones.

UCF said the student was last on campus March 9.

A military contractor who works at the university also tested positive and their colleagues were tested for the virus.
