Deputies: 2 killed in shooting at Lockhart apartment complex

Forest City Road homicide victims, deputies said.

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A woman who shared surveillance video with detectives working to solve a double-shooting at a Lockhart apartment complex now fears for her safety.

Two people were shot and killed just before 5 p.m. Wednesday in the area of Forrest City and Riverside Park roads, the Orange County Sheriff's Office said.
The woman, who asked to remain anonymous for fear for her safety, said detectives forced her to give them the video from cameras pointed at a nearby park where deputies believe the shooting took place.
"I asked for protection. They did not want to give protection for me and my family," the woman said.
She said the deputies took her digital video recorder, leaving behind a warrant and property form.
When deputies arrived at the complex Wednesday, they found Brandon Williams, 27, and Kimonie Norman, 20, who had been shot.
Wanda Golden was inside cooking when she heard arguing and looked out her window to see a group of young men.

"Then I heard the gunshots, pow, pow, pow, pow, pow, pow. It happened before you knew it," said Golden.

Both Williams and Norman were taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center where one victim was pronounced dead.
The second victim died Thursday morning, deputies said.
The shooter, or shooters, remain at large, investigators said.
