VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office said it is searching for a missing 14-year-old girl who left her Deltona home early Wednesday.
Deputies said Anaya Granger left her home in her mother’s car, which was later found on the side of the road in the Osteen area.
Anaya later sent a text message to her family indicating she’s fine, but she still hasn’t returned home or let anyone know where she is, according to deputies.
Officials said Anaya could be in the Orlando/Orange County area.

She was last seen wearing a black and white hoodie, gray sweatpants and black and pink tennis shoes. She was also carrying a duffel bag with clothes when she left.
Anyone with information about Anaya’s whereabouts is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 386-248-1777 or 911 in an emergency.
