PORT ORANGE, Fla. — Police in Port Orange are investigating a shooting that left two men dead Saturday morning.

Officers said the shooting happened around 7:52 a.m. at the Sunrise Pointe Apartments on Richel Drive.

When officers arrived, they found two men with gunshot wounds in the parking lot.

Police said both men were taken to a hospital where they died from their injuries.

Officers said the investigation into the shooting is active and ongoing.

Anyone who has information on the shooting is asked to contact Port Orange Police Detective Benezette at 386-506-5893.
