DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Three people riding motorcycles died early Tuesday in a crash during Bike Week, the Daytona Beach Police Department said.
Police said the crash was reported shortly before 12:30 a.m. at West International Speedway Boulevard and Nascar Drive near Daytona International Speedway.
Traci Boots, 46, of New York, John McGillicuddy, 47, of New York, and Robert McTearnen, 65, of Missouri, died in the crash.
Police said Gustave Pflugmacher IV, 55, of Missouri, survived the crash with minor injuries.
Investigators said they believe two of the motorcycles collided while one of the riders tried to change lanes.

The crash remains under investigation, but police said they do not expect anyone to be charged.
