VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — The National Weather Service will be in DeLand Wednesday to survey damage from a EF2 tornado that destroyed homes and buildings Tuesday.

The Red Cross said it is continuing to help residents who were displaced by the storm.

Video captured by DeLand city officials showed flooded streets and cars stuck. A flood warning remains in effect.

A short-lived tornado warning hit Volusia County around 4 p.m. Tuesday afternoon, but left significant storm damage.
