DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Daytona Beach Police are looking for the driver of an SUV who smashed through the traffic arms on a rising drawbridge.
Video captured the driver going right over the top of the bridge as the sections began to lift.

The traffic arms smashed the windshield and all four tires left the ground as the Hyundai Santa Fe traveled over the rising bridge.
The incident happened around 7:30 a.m. Monday along the Main Street Bridge, police said.

The traffic arms on both sides of the bridge had to be replaced.
Daytona Beach Police said they believe they have identified the driver, but so far have not made an arrest.
