Wet Wednesday on tap, localized flooding possible in Central Florida

ORLANDO, Fla. — Another wet day is in store for Central Florida.

Meteorologist Kassandra Crimi says rain and storms will again start on the early side, likely around 11 a.m. The afternoon will hold the best chance for Wednesday’s rain. Some communities could see excess rainfall leading to street ponding and localized flooding.

Crimi says that over the next few days, our rain and storm chances will remain elevated. Additionally, it will feel hotter by the end of the week as heat index values will return to the 105-108 degree range.
