DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — An Ormond Beach woman faces up to 15 years in prison after pleading no contest to DUI manslaughter in the death of a 22-year-old skateboarder.
Jody Ann Arcuri, 33, also pleaded no contest Wednesday to six counts of drug possession and one count of possession of paraphernalia. Circuit Judge Frank Marriott adjudicated her guilty on those counts.
A sentencing date hasn't been set for the manslaughter charge.
Authorities said Arcuri veered off U.S. 1 in South Daytona on Feb. 3, 2014, striking Stephen Wilson of New Smyrna Beach.
A local newspaper reports police found a variety of pills, marijuana, synthetic marijuana and four glass smoking pipes in Arcuri's car.
Court records show Arcuri has already served 359 days in jail.
