ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. — Future SunRail passengers said they want to know how they'll get to their destination once they get off the train.
One passenger told WFTV he works one mile away from the Altamonte Springs SunRail station, which means he'd have to walk the extra mile.
Officials call it the last mile.
But Lynx said it has a solution; they want to add more multi-passenger vans to its fleet.
"You get off the train, hop on a van, you all get to work, and then you determine when you are all going to leave. You are not dependent on a Lynx bus schedule," said Lynx CEO John Lewis.
Lynx already has 66 vans for its current van pool program.
Officials said phase one of SunRail will be ready for use in 2014.
