Masked Men Rob Chase Bank In St. Cloud

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — A bank in St. Cloud was robbed Tuesday morning, according to police.

The robbery happened at the Chase Bank located on the 4000 block of 13th Street (see map) in Osceola County.

Employees at the bank told police that two black males, wearing masks and gloves, entered the bank and demanded money while one of the men displayed a handgun.

The men ran out of the bank with an undetermined amount of money from one of the registers. Police said they fled in a black Chevrolet HHR.

One of the bank employees was able to get the license plate number on the vehicle.

Police said the empty vehicle was located in a nearby apartment complex. However, officers executed a search warrant for one of the apartments and arrested 54-year-old Vernell Holden and 34-year-old James E. Holden Jr.

They are being charged with armed robbery.

The investigation is ongoing.
