ORLANDO, Fla. — Orlando police arrested a man they say took advantage of COVID-19 rules when he attempted to rob a Wells Fargo bank.
Police arrested Keith Earle Young for attempted robbery with a mask after they were able to identify him from surveillance video from a nearby business.
According to the police report, Young entered the bank on Colonial Drive Thursday wearing sunglasses, white gloves and a white cone-like mask over his face.

The bank teller told police the man then approached her window demanding money, but that she had trouble hearing what he was saying because of the mask.

After asking several times for the teller to hand over the money the suspect grew frustrated and left the bank.
With the help of the FBI, investigators were able to identify Young as a possible suspect in the case.
Police said they believe Young may also be linked to the robbery of a Wells Fargo bank in Winter Park in June.
According to records, Young was released from federal prison in 2019 after serving a sentence for bank robbery.
