PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla.,None — Port St. Lucie police responded to a tip early Sunday morning that a teen had killed his parents and the bodies were still in the home.
According to PalmBeachPost.com, 17-year-old Tyler Hadley was arrested and charged with two counts of first degree murder after officials found the bodies of his parents behind a locked master bedroom door of their home, each having sustained blunt force trauma.
Police said responding officers found evidence that there had been a house party at the residence. While searching the house officers discovered the bodies of Blake and Mary-Jo Hadley on the floor of their bedroom partially covered with all sorts of household items.
Police found a hammer that they believe was used in the killings.
