ORLANDO, Fla. — The Pope named a new bishop on Saturday who will oversee Catholics in Central Florida.
John Noonan spoke out this morning after being named as the Bishop of the Orlando Diocese.
"I pray that God will truly make me become a good Bishop for you the people of Orlando," said Bishop Noonan.
Noonan became a priest back in 1983.
Noonan replaces Thomas Wenski, who led the Orlando Diocese since 2004.
