DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — The Volusia County Supervisor of Elections office has completed both machine and manual recounts in the Daytona Beach Mayor’s race, and the results remained the same as on election night.
Incumbent Mayor Derrick Henry won, receiving just over 50% of the total votes.

It will be Henry’s third term as Mayor
Henry’s opponents, Sherrise Boyd and Ken Strickland, combined for slightly less than 50% of the vote total, which forced the recount.
