SANFORD, Fla.,None — A downtown Sanford bar is under fire from residents who claim it's noisy and has too many fights.
WFTV found out the Sheriff's Office and police have had to come to the West End Trading Company, located on Sanford Avenue, nearly 90 times since last year.
Similar Sanford bars like the Wet Spot had less than half that.
Residents said they are tired of the rowdy West End Trading Company.
"Somebody was banging on our door two weeks ago at three o'clock in the morning, woke everybody up," said Karl Stairs.
Employees at the bar say it's like the other bars in town, it just has more customers.
Sanford police said they have four more officers on each shift since last year to combat issues in the area.
