None — On Feb. 12, 2011, the Foundation will celebrate its 27th annual Dream Gala at the Orlando Marriott Lake Mary. Join WFTV 9 Family Connection for this premier event in Seminole County. The Dream Gala is the Foundation for Seminole State College's biggest fundraiser of the year.
This year, the Dream Gala will feature a raffle for a 2011 Toyota Camry hybrid, graciously donated by the Central Florida Auto Dealers Association, Inc. Tickets are $25 for one entry or $100 for five entries, with proceeds benefiting Seminole State student scholarships, faculty programs and the College's areas of greatest need. Other event highlights include a formal dinner, a live and silent auction, and a performance by renowned entertainment group Flamingo Express.
Over the years, the funds raised by the Dream Gala have made countless Seminole State students' educational dreams come true. To date, the event has raised more than $1.5 million for the College.
