“It just felt good,” Chestnut said after his win. “Even if I was uncomfortable, having everybody cheer me and push me, it made me feel good.”

Michelle Lesco ate 30 and 3/4 dogs in 10 minutes to win the women’s title.
Reigning champ and record-holder Miki Sudo skipped this year because she is expecting a baby in a few weeks with fellow competitive eater Nick Wehry. Wehry, the No. 6 competitive eater in the world, came up short in this year’s contest.
