Surveillance video captured the moment the rented 2021 Lamborghini Urus traveling at a high rate of speed ran through a stop sign and was T-boned by a Nissan SUV, WSVN-TV reported.

Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue Assistant Chief Timothy Heiser told the TV station that the Urus crashed into another vehicle and “flew through the air about maybe 20 or 30 feet” before alighting on the duplex’s roof, hitting a tree and igniting on the ground.

The crash occurred at around 3 p.m. EDT, WPTV reported.

Firefighters confirmed to the TV station that the extensive damage caused to the unoccupied portion of the duplex by the crash forced residents to vacate the dwelling, but no injuries inside the home were reported.

Meanwhile, witness Clarence Middleton told WSVN that he saw someone stuck inside the mangled Urus, so he helped pull the driver out, who immediately bolted.

“He got up and he ran off with no shoes on, with just socks on,” Middleton told the TV station.

According to WPTV, the driver of the Nissan suffered only minor injuries in the crash.

Investigators determined that the Urus was rented from a Miami-based luxury rental business, and they have since located the driver, who sought medical attention at an area hospital and is cooperating with the probe, WSVN reported.
