Hailey Bieber recovering after docs find blood clot on her brain

Hailey Bieber is recovering at home after being hospitalized Thursday after experiencing stroke-like symptoms, the model confirmed via social media on Saturday.

Bieber, 25, shared via Instagram Story on Saturday that doctors discovered a “very small blood clot” in her brain that caused the symptoms.

The clot “caused a small lack of oxygen,” she wrote, noting that her body passed the clot “on its own, and I recovered completely within a few hours.”

Bieber’s health scare comes one month after her popstar husband, Justin Bieber, struggled with a bout of COVID-19 that forced the cancellation of his Feb. 20 concert in Las Vegas, Billboard reported.

“Although this was definitely one of the scariest moments I’ve ever been through, I’m home now and doing well, and I’m so grateful and thankful to all the amazing doctors and nurses who took care of me!,” Hailey Bieber wrote.

The model has been open in the past about her own mental health struggles, as well her husband’s ongoing struggle with Lyme disease, USA Today reported.

In 2020, Hailey Bieber told Elle: “(Justin) was really sick. He has Lyme disease, and he was dealing with a bunch of medical stuff. We didn’t have a diagnosis, and it was hard because everybody from the outside was being super mean and judgmental, saying he looked like he was on drugs, saying how unhealthy he looked, when in truth, he was not healthy, and we didn’t know why.”
