Kylie Jenner made history, becoming the first woman to have 300 million Instagram followers. By Thursday afternoon, she had 301 million followers on the social media app. Her most recent post, showing off her new baby bump, was dated six days before and had 13.5 million likes.
Jenner, who is pregnant with her second child by rapper Travis Scott, has not posted as much on social media since the tragedy at Scott’s Astroworld music festival killed 10 people and injured many more, CNN reported.
Previously, singer Ariana Grande, who has 289 million followers, was the most-followed woman on the platform.
Soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo currently has the highest follower count on the app at 389 million, second only to Instagram’s official account, which has 460 million followers, People Magazine reported.
Every day, an estimated 500 million people use Instagram, BBC reported.
